The suspect used to force Mehwish to marry him but she never consented to the proposal

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Dr Hassan Askari on Sunday took notice of the killing of female bus hostess in Faisalabad.

The caretaker CM while taking notice of the murder of an 18-year old bus hostess sought the report from Punjab’s Inspector General of Police (IGP).

On Thursday, an 18-year-old bus hostess namely Mehwish was approached by suspect Umer Daraz worked as security guard with the victim at her previous workplace Kohistan travels.

Umer used to force Mehwish to marry him but she never consented to the proposal.

The victim was returning to her hostel after meeting her family when the accused met her on the way and held her arm. Furious over the move, Mehwish scolded Umer for his action.

Filled with anger, the suspect took out a pistol and shot Mehwish as a result of which she was badly injured and shifted to hospital. During treatment, she succumbed to her wounds.
